Are you our new Dam Technician for maintenance & upkeep of Hydropower Dams?

We are now looking for our new colleague - a dedicated dam technician who wants to work closely with our dam facilities and contribute to the development of one of our most important energy sources.

Your new everyday life:

As a dam technician, you will be part of our close-knit and competent team responsible for keeping the hydropower stations in top condition – from daily operations to long-term development. You will be where the action is, out in our dam facilities, and play a central role in ensuring both safety and operational stability. With varied and significant tasks, your days will be filled with:

• supervising dams through rounds and participating in various types of inspections
• planning and executing both preventive and corrective maintenance
• working with troubleshooting and analysis of technical systems at the dams
• participating in audits at the power stations
• leading contractors in connection with smaller projects

The work is carried out at our 25 dam/hydropower facilities located in the waterways of Motalaström, Stångån, and Svartån.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe you are a person who enjoys solving problems and finds it easy to understand technical challenges. You take initiative when something needs to be done and work systematically to plan both your own work and joint efforts. Collaboration is a natural part of your everyday life – you communicate clearly, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive and safe work environment.

Experiences you bring and share with us:

• High school education in a relevant field (e.g., construction and civil engineering) or other experience deemed equivalent
• Work experience in the field, which the employer considers relevant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Operational technician education
• Experience as a construction worker, operational technician, or similar
• Experience with hydropower and hydropower dams
• Driving license BE and/or clearing and chainsaw training
